Hindi Diwas was celebrated at the college on 18th September 2026 with great enthusiasm and participation. The programme was organized by the Department of Hindi and featured essay writing and handwriting competitions for students, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their creativity and appreciation for the Hindi language. The chief guest was Dr. Madhavi S Bhandari, an eminent scholar and writer, principal of Poorna Prajna College. She addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of Hindi Diwas and the richness of the Hindi language. Drawing examples from the works of the great poet Tulsidas, she highlighted the beauty and literary depth of Hindi. Prof. Asha Kumari, Compliance Director, and Prof. Prabha Kamath, Principal, were also present on the dais and shared their thoughts on the occasion. The programme continued with the distribution of prizes to the winners of the competitions by the chief guest. To add colour to the event students had entertainment program. The event was coordinated by Prof. Sunitha Kamath of the Department of Hindi, while Dr. S. Lorata delivered the vote of thanks. Ms. Aeifa compered the programme. The celebration concluded on a meaningful note, emphasizing the importance of preserving, promoting, and appreciating the Hindi language.
