Mr. Chandrashekar, Faculty, Department of Commerce, UPMC, along with three students, Mr. Danial (III BBA), Mr. Rishan Abdul Hameed (III BBA), and Mr. Deeraj (III BBA), participated in a One-Day Multidisciplinary National Conference on “Financial Inclusion, Skill India and Entrepreneurship” held on 26 September 2026 at Mahaveera College, Moodbidri. The conference was organised by the Department of Economics, Mahaveera College, in association with the Mangalore University Economics Association. Under the guidance of Mr. Chandrashekar, the team presented and discussed a paper titled “Role of Canara Bank in Promoting Financial Inclusion: A Case Study of Canara Bank, Kunjibettu Branch, Udupi.” The presentation provided valuable insights into the role of banking institutions in promoting financial inclusion. A Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to all the participants in recognition of their contribution to the conference.
