Upendra Pai Memorial College (UPMC) was established in 1991. Upendra Pai memorial college is named in honour of T. Upendra Pai, brother of Dr T M A Pai the visionary founder of Modern Manipal. It is one of the most prestigious colleges of Dr. T. M. A. Pai Foundation, Manipal. The college is affiliated to Mangalore University. With over 35 years of excellence in education, Upendra Pai Memorial College has earned a strong reputation for quality teaching and academic rigor in Commerce and Management. The institution offers undergraduate programs in B. Com, B.B.A and B.C.A, which is designed to build strong conceptual foundations and professional competence. Further, strengthening its academic offering the college has entered into strategic partnership with Manipal Skill Development Centre ( Manipal) to provide value based , industry oriented diploma programs ensuring that students graduate as skilled, confident and industry ready professionals

“Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man”, said Swami Vivekananda. It is not just the acquisition of information and knowledge but of wisdom. It cannot be confined to mere collection of facts. It should also enable a student to stand on his/her own feet, intellectually and morally. It should also provide enough strength to pursue one’s own means of livelihood. Knowledge of creation of wealth should also become part of student’s personality. Faculties of mind like concentration, memory, analysis, creativity, decision-making and communication should also as a result of education.
In the light of the above Upendra Pai Memorial College, A unit of Dr.T.M.A Pai Foundation Manipal, exclusively offering Commerce and Management education in Kunjibettu, Udupi. Our dedicated faculty, available facilities and industry exposure ensure a holistic learning experience.
Apart from the academic curriculum, the college also provides scope for improvement in communication skills, computer skills, sports activities and cultural activities.
