To bring the parents closer to the College and to involve them more actively in the educational activities of the College, Parent-Teachers’ Association is started in this College.
Parents / guardians of the students are reminded that the welfare of their wards is the joint responsibility of the parents and teachers. They are earnestly requested to keep in touch with the Principal from time to time regarding the progress and the conduct of their wards and make it a point to meet the Principal at least once in each term in this regard. The parents / guardians of students are requested to instruct their wards against getting involved in ragging. Their attention is drawn to the sections 2 (29) and 116 of Karnataka Education Act 1983.
While every effort will be made to inform the parents or guardians about any instance of serious misconduct on the part of their wards, the authorities of the college do not bind themselves to intimate in advance to the parents or guardians any action which they are compelled to take against the students in the best interest of the tone and discipline of the college.
It is advisable for the students to get their mail at their residence. Any mail addressed to them at the college address will be kept in box maintained at the college office. College authorities will not be responsible for any loss or defacing of the mail.
Parents / guardians are requested to clearly understand that the authorities or teachers of the college do not undertake to organise or lead any excursions, picnics, tours or pleasure trips excepting those prescribed by the University as part of the curriculum.
