Officials from the Industrial Training and Employment Branch, District Employment Exchange Centre,
Udupi, visited Upendra Pai Memorial College on 28 July 2026 to create awareness among final-year
B.Com and BBA students about career opportunities in the government sector. Ms. Latha and Ms.
Ishwarya interacted with the students and provided valuable insights into various government job
opportunities, eligibility requirements, and the importance of registering with the Employment
Exchange to access suitable employment opportunities. Employment registration forms were
distributed to all the students, and the officials guided them through the process of filling out and
submitting the forms to the Employment Exchange Centre. The programme proved highly beneficial
to all the final-year students by equipping them with essential information and facilitating their
employment registration. The programme was coordinated by Prof. Asha Kumari, Director of
